Shipping policy
PROCESSING & SHIPPING POLICY
At Mikarte Creations each piece is prepared by hand with attention to detail and dedication. Because of this, our policy establishes that all orders will be prepared in a period of 5 to 10 business days from the date of purchase (this time does not include weekends or holidays). Delivery time excludes processing time.
The shipping method selected at checkout only applies to the shipping speed of your order once it has been shipped. Our processing time remains the same regardless of the shipping option chosen.
Please note that once your package is shipped, USPS may not scan it at every location along its route. We recommend checking your tracking number directly on the USPS website. If there are any delays or shipping issues, please contact your local post office for assistance.
SHIPPING TO PUERTO RICO
Shipping rates to Puerto Rico are higher due to USPS-established shipping costs. We strive to provide our customers with the best available options, which is why we offer two shipping methods for orders exceeding 2 pounds. You may choose the option that best suits your needs (please read the differences between each option).
Priority Mail
This option is slightly more expensive and includes insurance coverage with tracking (please verify insurance details directly with USPS). This is the fastest shipping option available, and your order is generally delivered within 3 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on USPS.
USPS Parcel Select Ground
This is the most economical shipping option. It includes a tracking number, just like Priority Mail, but does not include insurance. Delivery is slower than Priority Mail, with estimated transit times ranging from 8 to 14 business days, depending on USPS.
LOST PACKAGES / DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
Errors made by USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL are not the responsibility of Mikarte Creations and do not reflect our commitment to our customers. Once a package leaves our facility, it is outside of our control.
For added protection, we strongly recommend selecting a shipping option that includes insurance coverage. Mikarte Creations is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, damaged, or marked as delivered but not received if no insurance coverage was purchased.
If Your Package Shows as Delivered
If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you have not received it, please allow at least one week for the package to arrive before contacting us.
ADDRESS ACCURACY
Please verify your shipping address carefully before placing your order. Packages will be shipped to the address provided by the customer, including addresses submitted through PayPal, Shop, and our website.
Any package returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address will be reshipped at the buyer’s expense and will not be eligible for a refund.
